Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Mon 6am-12pm * Tue 5am - 12pm (truck day) * Thur 5am - 12pm (truck day)

Job Duties

• Load and unload flooring and carpet products manually and with equipment assistance
• Operate a sit-down propane forklift approximately 10% of the workday
• Use RF scanning devices to track inventory and product movement
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist with receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials
• Verify product quantities using basic counting and math skills

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or inventory experience preferred
• Experience operating a sit-down propane forklift (rear-wheel drive) preferred
• Experience using RF scanners/devices and performing cycle counts
• Ability to accurately track inventory and follow warehouse procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Forklift Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
