Forklift Operator

Location: Reading, PA

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM) | 2nd Shift (11 AM - 8 PM)

Looking for Forklift Operator jobs in Reading where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.

Job Duties

• Operate powered industrial equipment to load, unload, transport, and stack materials
• Put away and relocate products using stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Accurately record inventory locations and movements
• Load outbound shipments onto trailers and customer vehicles
• Assist with shipping, labeling, and packaging duties as needed
• Document shipment data, including weights, damages, discrepancies, and shipping details
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements

• 1 year of stand-up forklift experience
• Able to learn and grow within the manufacturing environment
• Positve attitude
• Leadership skills
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse, manufacturing, and/or distribution experience

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
