Kelly Services in Topeka, KS is looking for a Fork Lift Operator to support a premier manufacturing client. You will pick, stock, and stage pallets, load and unload trucks, rotate and wrap products, and maintain a clean, safe work area following GMP guidelines.

The position pays $18.50 per hour, requires forklift and warehouse experience, basic math, and the ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as production demands.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or distribution environments.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Comfort working in varied temperatures (0°F to 110°F).
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsabilités

Shift:

5am to 5pm- exact hours will be given at orientation

Must be flexible to work overtime

What’s a typical day as Fork Lift Operator? You’ll be:

• Picking, stocking, and staging pallets of finished products according to company policies
• Loading and unloading trucks with pallets of finished products
• Rotating, wrapping, and preparing products according to company and customer guidelines
• Moving products and pallets using pallet jacks or forklifts
• Inventorying stored pallets, maintaining paperwork, and ensuring a clean and organized work area
• Following company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Assisting in the raw materials warehouse as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have warehouse or distribution center experience
• Forklift experience
• Are able to perform basic math
• Can work in varied warehouse environments, including wet or dry conditions with temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F
• Are comfortable with repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages up to 70 lbs.
• Are flexible to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as production demands
