Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to perform forklift operations and support receiving, shipping, and warehouse tasks at our Utah facility.

You will transport parts and materials, verify paperwork, and help unload trucks while maintaining safety and organization. Ideal candidates are certified forklift operators with a high school diploma and at least one year of experience, able to work day shifts in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teammates to meet

• Educational experience equivalent to a High School Diploma and one year forklift experience.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Neat, organized with extreme attention to detail.
• Able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• Demonstrated computer skills: spreadsheets, word processing, databases.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport parts and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receive and ship goods and materials.
• Verify paperwork against driver logs and parts received.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Check forklift for problems (fluid levels, tires, forks).
• Stack and unstack palletized material in storage racks.
• Perform various warehouse and shipping tasks as required.

Summary Of Duties

Performs forklift responsibilities for the warehouse.

Essential Functions Performed

• Operates manually controlled or powered forklift to transport parts and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receives and ships goods and materials.
• Verifies paperwork against driver logs and parts received.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Checks forklift for problems such as fluid levels, tires, and forks.
• Stacks and unstacks palletized material in storage racks.
• Performs various warehouse and shipping tasks, as required.
