Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a clerical/Inventory Support role in Utah to perform data entry of inventory transactions and assist with janitorial duties. The position requires basic clerical experience and the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.

The role involves stocking, counts, and coordinating with team members to maintain proper supply levels, as well as operating pallet jack and assisting with duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Six months of clerical experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good oral/written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Orders janitorial supplies; ensures and verifies accuracy of paperwork; and performs data entry of orders in database.
• Performs inventory counts and makes adjustments, if needed.
• Works with team members to verify supplies are used properly and ensures quantities are at needed levels.
• Stocks various products in storage areas while ensuring that racks are organized, clean and products are located in proper locations.
• Contact for supply needs and delivery of them.
• Ensures janitorial equipment is in good, working, safe condition.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Performs various clerical and data entry functions in recording inventory transactions in the computer. May assist with janitorial duties and run floor equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Orders janitorial supplies; ensures and verifies accuracy of paperwork; and performs data entry of orders in database.
2. Performs inventory counts and makes adjustments, if needed.
3. Works with team members to verify supplies are used properly and ensures quantities are at needed levels.
4. Stocks various products in storage areas while ensuring that racks are organized, clean and products are located in proper locations.
5. Contact for supply needs and delivery of them.
6. Ensures janitorial equipment is in good, working, safe condition.
7. Delivers requested items to janitors to different buildings.
8. Operates a pallet jack and moves pallets around.
9. May assist with janitorial duties.
10. Performs other tasks, as needed.
