Merit Medical Systems in South Jordan, UT, is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to manage warehouse movements, receipts and shipments, and ensure accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Educational experience equivalent to a High School Diploma and one year forklift experience.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Ability to be neat and organized and pay extreme attention to detail.
• Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to transport parts and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receives and ships goods and materials.
• Verifies paperwork against driver logs and parts received.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Checks forklift for problems such as fluid levels, tires, and forks.
• Stacks and unstacks palletized material in storage racks.
• Performs various warehouse and shipping tasks as required.
