Job Description

• Operate and manage technical equipment like the forklift and pallet jack.
• Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse gear.
• Transport materials within the facility.
• Secure loads properly on the forklift before transportation.
• Identify workplace safety hazards and adhere to safety standards.
• Pull or place cartons on racks.

JOB SUMMARY: The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in loading, unloading, and moving inventory using forklift and pallet jack machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and supporting production.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and manage forklift and pallet jack equipment.
• Handle loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving tasks.
• Transport materials within the facility.
• Secure loads properly on the forklift.
• Maintain safety standards and identify hazards.
• Manage cartons on racks.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with good communication skills.
• Stand for 8-10 hours as needed.
• Be flexible with shift times and overtime.
• Familiarity with sports leagues and teams is a plus.
• Ability to read bar codes and use RF scanning equipment (preferred).
• Perform accurate inventory counts.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds or more regularly.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.
