Sofidel America, based in Haines City, FL, is seeking a Forklift Operator. We prefer candidates who are local and interested in a long-term position within a stable environment offering growth opportunities. Your skills will be a vital part of our team!

Sofidel America is a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, a leading global manufacturer of paper products for hygienic and domestic use. Established in 2012 and headquartered in Horsham, PA, it operates manufacturing plants across six states and has subsidiaries in 12 countries with over 6,500 employees.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, 7:00 to 7:00, alternating days and nights every two weeks.

Essential Functions

1. Support Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP standards to ensure a safe, sanitary workplace.
2. Maintain forklift certifications for various types such as Single Forks, Double-Wide, Box-Clamp, Roll-Clamp, and Bale Clamp.
3. Conduct forklift inspections and complete logs and documentation.
4. Charge batteries and replace propane cylinders.
5. Operate stretch wrap machines and understand HU label processes.
6. Monitor raw materials, finished goods, and waste products across all lines.
7. Transport raw materials, finished products, and waste in a timely and safe manner.
8. Band parent rolls and sort them into recycling or customer trailers.
9. Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility in scheduling.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Education & Experience

1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a forklift or material handling role.
