Staffmark is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator in Pooler, GA to support a fast-paced, team-oriented facility known for its commitment to operational excellence and long-term employee success. If you have at least one year of forklift experience and are looking for a stable, temp-to-hire opportunity, this is the job for you!

Hours & Pay:

1st Shift: $21.50/hour

2nd Shift: $23.00/hour

Training Hours: Occurs on the same shift but at a different nearby location (just 10 minutes away)

Employment Type: Temp-to-hire, with long-term potential based on performance

Position Overview:

Join a high-performance logistics team where your skills matter. As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in the movement, storage, and handling of materials across a modern distribution center. Our ideal candidate is confident on a sit-down forklift, with preference given to those with clamp and electric pallet jack (EPJ) experience. No clamp or EPJ experience? No problem - we're happy to train the right candidate post-hire!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stack product


• Perform general warehouse duties as needed


• Maintain safety and accuracy while handling materials


• Communicate with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory flow

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience required (2 years preferred, especially in a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment)


• Previous experience with clamp forklift and EPJ preferred (training available)


• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally


• Strong attention to safety and detail
