Job Purpose

Forklift Operators operate industrial lifts and in-loaders equipped to move materials around the work area. This position will assist in packaging the finished product.

Responsibilities

• Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, hoists, or elevating platforms to load, unload, transport, or stack materials.
• Inspect loads for accuracy and safely move them within the warehouse or facility.
• Manually load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, or transport vehicles.
• Position and secure loads for transport to designated areas.
• Perform inspections of forklift equipment.
• Utilize scanner devices to track and ship products.
• Maintain equipment and ensure yard cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred, not required.
• Basic communication skills in English; bilingual is a plus.
• Forklift experience is advantageous but training will be provided.

Additional Information

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Work environment involves exposure to noise, fumes, and dust in manufacturing settings.
