Position: 1st Shift Forklift Operator

Pay: $19.50/hr

Shift: 7am – 5pm (Monday – Friday). Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Preferred Skills:

Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handler, Loader/Unloader, Equipment Operator, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker.

Experience with stand-up material handling equipment (minimum 6 months) is required, with preference given to those experienced with stand-up Dock Stockers and Reach Trucks. Experience with other equipment like Cherry Pickers, Sit-down, Clamp, or Electric Pallet Jacks is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment (30-90% of the shift depending on production peaks), including stand-up, sit-down, and clamp forklifts, and electric pallet jacks.
• Perform material handling and loading/unloading duties.
• Move stock within the warehouse, load and unload shipments of various sizes.
• Maintain inventory records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, check for damage, and report variances.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources.
• Keep equipment and facility organized and clean.
• Assist with physical inventories and equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Forklift operator certification or completion of a forklift training program within 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months of warehouse and forklift operation experience preferred.
