Job summary

United Felts, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage, loading, and line setup activities. You will operate a forklift, inspect equipment, and help maintain organized inventory of rolls and pallets to optimize space and prevent damage.

This role requires basic HS diploma or manufacturing experience, strong attention to safety, and willingness to work closely with supervisors to keep production moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate forklift and perform safety checks.
• Basic organization and attention to detail.

Job description

Participate in maintaining the storage of warehouse rolls and pallets in an organized manner. Assist shipping in reviewing bill of loading or receiving slip to ensure our customer’s orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform forklift checks to maintain proper working order and report any problems or maintenance that may be needed.
• Be observant and alert of surroundings at all times.
• Keep rolls and pallets organized to utilize space and to prevent material damage.
• Communicate with Supervisors and slitter operators to determine what their needs will be in order to keep production rolling.
• Set up the production lines rolls and pallets.
• Set up the slitter’s rolls.
• Keep a log of rolls returned to stock, which includes the roll number, length, width, gauge and location.
• Pull orders from location to slitter.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Fill in as forklift operator in warehouse when needed.
• Work in a safe manner at all times by following the company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning duties when required.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Will at times be asked to perform other duties.

Education & Experience

• GED/High School Diploma or previous manufacturing experience

The pay range for this role is:

17.95 - 17.95 USD per hour (United Felts)
