The core responsibilities of this role include: The position is a combination of equipment operator (30-90% depending on production peak times) but will also require the employee to perform material handling, loose case picking, and loading/unloading duties.

Position Details

• Position: First (1st) Shift Forklift Operator
• Shift: 3:30am – 2:00pm, Friday-Monday and Thursday-Sun
• Pay: $22.75 per hour
• Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible for monthly performance and safety incentive bonuses!

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess experience with forklift material handling equipment, with preference given to those experienced in operating forklifts. Experience with other material handling equipment is a plus.

Role Purpose

Our Forklift Operators move stock within our warehouse, loading and unloading shipments of various sizes using stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. This fast-paced, team-oriented, and safety-focused environment plays an essential role in daily life.

Key Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift)
2. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy
3. Maintain inventory records
4. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
5. Verify load accuracy and report variances
6. Change batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources
7. Keep equipment and materials organized and maintained
8. Assist with physical inventories
9. Perform daily equipment inspections
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of training within 30 days
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Six months warehouse experience (preferred)
• Six months forklift operation experience
