Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services in Kyle, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. This role operates on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery and may involve cranes, hoists, and hand trucks.

You will perform inventory tasks, pick and pack orders, load/unload trucks, and complete cycle counts under direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift and moving materials.
• Ability to follow work instructions and assist with general warehouse tasks.
• Basic inventory and cycle counts familiarity.
• Willingness to work on warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Remove and stock product according to inventory plan.
• Select products to fill orders and package them.
• Load and unload trucks and verify items.
• Pick, process and pack orders; cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts.
• Identify and segregate defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions.
• Perform general cleanup.
• Inspect forklift at start of shift and report issues.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
• Assist with other duties as requested.

Key Accountabilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer's product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
