Job summary

Commercial Metals in Jacksonville, FL is hiring for a manufacturing operator role supporting recycling, fabrication, and production tasks. You will help operate production equipment, maintain a safe work area, and contribute to process safety programs.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with forklift/skid steer experience a plus; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety regulations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle materials.
• Experience in recycling or manufacturing is a plus.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
