Job summary

Plastipak is hiring Forklift Operators to move and store materials between the warehouse and production areas. You will operate a forklift, use RF scanners, and load goods for shipping, while growing your skills through training and on-the-job experiences.

We offer set schedules with 12-hour shifts and a rotating pattern, plus ample paid time off and a benefits package. A valid driver’s license and one year of forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year forklift experience is required.
• Valid driver license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.
• Use RF scanning device to scan goods and maintain inventory.
• Load finished goods to ship to customers.

Plastipak Forklift Operators safely and efficiently move & store finished goods and raw materials between the warehouse and production areas. Associates take pride in maintaining our high standards of quality products and our positive team culture.

You Will

• Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas
• Use RF scanning device to scan goods and properly maintain inventory
• Load finished goods to ship to customers
• Grow knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• Able to work days 7 pm – 7 am
• Schedule cycles are 3 days on, 2 day off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat
• Able to work overtime, as needed
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid driver license
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience is required
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to be a productive team member
• Physical requirement includes able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

• $20 & up, based on experience
