Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and ensure proper documentation for all outbound and inbound shipments.
• Maintain office and warehouse housekeeping.
• Operate forklift to load and unload trailers.
• Use RF scanner to track inventory.
• Provide instructions to shuttle drivers and manage trailer pool.
• Monitor availability of product for shipments.
• Coordinate loads with manufacturing warehouse.
• Report food safety issues to authorized personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Plastipak Shipping Clerk is responsible for all phases of operation of the shipping and receiving office including loading and unloading trucks via forklift.

You Will Adhere to all procedures within Safety, Corporate/Site Quality System, Operation Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the loading of and ensures proper documentation for all outbound and inbound shipments and shuttles
• Housekeeping of the office and warehouse areas
• Operate forklift to load and unload trailers
• Use RF scanning device to scan goods and properly maintain inventory
• Provides instruction to shuttle driver and manages pool of trailers
• Monitors availability of product for shipments.
• Works with manufacturing warehouse to coordinate loads to outside warehouses
• Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
• Performs all other duties as assigned
