Job description

Join to apply for the Forklift Operator role at Bunzl Distribution NA.

The Forklift Operator will perform various functions, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse using a Stand-Up forklift.

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm - $17.75/hr
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm - $18.75/hr

Weekly Pay!

Responsibilities:

• Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer.
• Operate an industrial forklift safely and responsibly.
• Retrieve and stack products using appropriate equipment.
• Utilize on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers as directed by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

• Proven proficiency with powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (40-50 lbs.) consistently.
• Ongoing availability for overtime as needed.
• Ability to understand written English without translation software.
• Previous stand-up forklift experience required.
• Dependability and team-oriented attitude.
• Obtain all OSHA-required certifications upon hire.
• Strong attention to detail.
