Adecco is hiring Forklift Operators for a leading warehouse and distribution facility in East Fort Worth (76118). If you have experience operating forklifts, working in receiving, inventory management, and warehouse operations, we want to hear from you!

As a Forklift Operator in the Receiving Department, you will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, unloading freight, verifying product accuracy, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and maintaining a safe and organized work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior forklift operating experience is required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload inbound shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify products against packing lists and shipping documentation.
• Inspect and count freight with carriers.
• Complete all required receiving paperwork accurately.
• Stage and organize incoming inventory.
• Put away and replenish inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Utilize SAP and handheld/tablet technology to complete transactions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and perform daily equipment inspections.

Job Summary

As a Forklift Operator in the Receiving Department, you will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, unloading freight, verifying product accuracy, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires the use of sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Unloading

• Safely unload inbound shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks




• Verify products against packing lists and shipping documentation




• Inspect and count freight with carriers




• Complete all required receiving paperwork accurately




• Stage and organize incoming inventory

Inventory & Putaway

• Put away and replenish inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks




• Utilize SAP and handheld/tablet technology to complete transactions




• Maintain inventory accuracy standards




• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

Equipment Operation

• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks safely




• Perform daily equipment inspections




• Change propane tanks and batteries as needed




• Follow all company and safety procedures

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED




• Previous forklift operating experience




• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions




• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred

• Previous shipping and receiving experience




• Experience with SAP or warehouse management systems




• Experience operating reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts




• Inventory control and cycle count experience
