Job Description Summary

Support production operations through the use of powered industrial vehicles.

Job Description

1. Off shift position starting at $18 an hour.
2. Operate a forklift or tugger (PIV) used for transporting material.
3. Stacking and unstacking dunnage and four posts.
4. Moving material around the plant.
5. Loading and unloading materials to production locations, markets, or inbound deliveries.
6. Tracking inventory of incoming and outgoing items.
7. Labeling and sorting incoming/outbound shipments.
8. Loading outbound trucks.
9. Performing safety checks on PIV before use.
10. Operating in tight spaces with pedestrian traffic.

Required Skills and Education

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Prior experience in driving a forklift/tugger is required.
3. Safety-focused, as high volumes of material are moved every hour with pedestrian traffic and close proximity to machines.
4. Must pass our certification test to operate a PIV or be moved to a production operator position.
5. Ability to work any shift.
6. Successfully complete a criminal and education background review.
7. Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
8. Ability to work on any shift, considering seniority and union regulations.
9. Willingness to work voluntarily or when required on weekends.
10. Highly motivated with an interest in manufacturing.
11. Team player, flexible, and adaptable to change.
