Job summary

MAT HD is seeking a forklift operator to support logistics for our heavy braking parts business in Dallas, TX. You will operate material handling equipment to lift, move and stage parts, ensuring on-time delivery to distributors, OEMs and fleets.

Responsibilities include daily safety inspections, safe operation of sit-down forklifts, reach trucks and cherry pickers, maintaining a clean workspace, and coordinating with technicians for maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification preferred; 0–2 years of experience.
• Familiar with RF scanners and pallet handling.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklift, reach truck and cherry picker safely.

Qualifications

Competencies

• Familiarity and experience using RF scanner for picking, checking, and/or inventory functions
• Familiarity and experience using equipment such as sit-down forklift, reach truck, cherry picker
• Clean driving record
• Manual dexterity
• Diligent use of personal protective equipment

Education/Experience

• Performs work under direct supervision with a basic understanding of equipment.
• Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Typically requires a high school diploma, fork lift certificate, and 0 to 2 years of experience.
