Position Details

• Position: Weekend (1st) Shift Forklift Operator
• Shift: 7am – 7pm, Fri-Sun, with overtime as needed
• Pay: $19.00 per hour; $1.50/hr shift differential

Preferred Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate may also have experience in:

• Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor
• Forklift operation, Quality Control, Material Handling
• Loader/Unloader, Equipment Operation, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker

Minimum of 6 months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required. Experience with other equipment like Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is a plus. The role involves equipment operation (30-90%) and material handling duties.

Experience with warehouse management systems such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is highly preferred.

Role Purpose

Our Forklift Operators move stock within the warehouse, load and unload shipments, and operate various types of forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stage products using forklifts or other equipment (~80% of shift)
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy
• Maintain inventory records and comply with safety standards
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Assist with physical inventories and other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience

• Forklift certification or training within first 30 days
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Six months warehouse experience (preferred)
• Six months forklift operation experience
