Axis Pipe and Tube Inc in Bryan, TX is seeking a full-time Manual Labor role focused on forklift operation and material handling. The position requires safe operation of forklifts, adherence to speed and load limits, and routine equipment checks to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities include moving pipe and materials, coordinating with production and shipping via radio, documenting loads, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the work area.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand the Standard Operating Procedure for the position held.

Responsabilités

• Operates forklift to move pipe and material.
• Observes and respects speed limits in plant.
• Observes and respects load limits of forklift being operated.
• Inspects the forklift prior start the shift and fill out the check list.
• Maintains fluid, fuel and lubrication levels on equipment being operated.
• Reports any mechanical, electrical or safety problems to Foreman and Maintenance.
• Submits reports and documentation concerning loading to Foreman or Supervision.
• Communicates by radio with production to keep buildings running properly.
• Communicates by radio with shipping team to execute the shipping process properly.
• Maintains production buildings with entry tables full and exit tables empty.
• Delivers documentation to truck drivers as required.
• Inspects product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Transports pipe from production buildings to the racks.
• Transports pipe from the racks to trucks.
• Loads trucks with pipe from shipping bay or stocking area.
• Completes assignments given by Supervisor, including those not listed in this description
