Job description

McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring for 1st and 2nd Shift Forklift Operator in Benson, NC!

We are looking for a technically skilled and experienced individual with excellent attention to detail to join our team in Benson, NC as a Forklift Operator.

1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, with extended hours Saturdays as necessary

2nd Shift: 3pm to 11:30pm, with extended hours Saturdays as necessary

Pay: $15 and up depending on experience

A Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving material by operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The goal will be to ensure that material and products are always in the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. This individual will be responsible, hardworking, and a team player!

Forklift Operator's Job Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers and place materials in proper locations
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility
• Secure loads to machine before transportation
• Inspect for damages to vehicles
• Operate and manage technical equipment
• Adhere to production schedules
• Exchange propane tanks on the back of the lift when it is out of gasoline
• Restack lumber when piles are knocked over or need adjustments
• Assist team members in the yard and on the floor as needed
• Adhere to safety management standards and identify workplace hazards
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and orderly environment
• Special projects as assigned
