Overview

Blue Rhino Propane is seeking a Part-Time Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will inspect and transport propane cylinders by loading and unloading with a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. This position includes in-house OSHA certified training.

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday, approximately 3pm - 11pm

Responsibilities

• Transport propane cylinders safely around the yard using a forklift
• Handle and maintain flow of materials and products following safety guidelines
• Work evenings and weekends as needed
• Complete and submit log sheets, BOLs, packing slips, and other paperwork
• Perform forklift inspections before each shift to ensure mechanical safety and OSHA compliance
• Regularly inspect the vehicle and notify supervisors of maintenance needs
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Assist with other staffing needs during production shifts when not operating the forklift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, understand, and pass necessary training and exams
• Preferred 1+ years of work experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future
