H.Essers is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our growing U.S. warehouse team in Baytown, TX. The role involves receiving, shipping, and quality control of a variety of products, including hazardous materials and food-grade items.

A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency is required. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of forklift experience in logistics, works well in a non-climate-controlled environment, and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Load, unload, move, and stage product using sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Prepare product for shipping, including labeling, banding, stretch wrapping, blocking and bracing.
• Verify shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Operate RF scanner to document movements and inventory.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with warehouse and office staff to meet productivity goals.
• Perform daily equipment inspections before operation.
• Assist with labeling, packing, and restocking as needed.

YOUR CHALLENGES

Forklift Operators are responsible for receiving, shipping and quality control of various customer products consisting of non-hazardous and hazardous materials, food grade and other commodities. Forklift Operators will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and proficient in operating different types of equipment in a fast-paced environment.

• Load, unload, move, and stage product by operating various equipment such as sit-down forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker.
• Pull and prepare product for shipping, including but not limited to labeling, banding, stretch wrapping, blocking, and bracing.
• Verify shipments for accuracy, and document and report any discrepancies.
• Utilize an RF scanner.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform daily equipment inspections prior to operation.
• Perform other duties beyond driving a forklift, including labeling, banding, stretch wrapping, cleaning drums and totes, and restacking bags and pails.

YOUR TALENTS

The ideal candidate has:

• 2–3 years of forklift experience in a logistics environment.
• A flexible work schedule and the ability to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
• The ability to work in congested areas and a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• 2–3 years of experience handling hazardous materials.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs; bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab; and walk and sit for extended periods.
• A detail-oriented approach and the ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to read, write, and speak English.
