Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; diesel or automotive repair cert preferred.
• 1–3 years hands-on mechanical repair on industrial or heavy equipment.
• Able to stand, bend, crawl, and lift 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance: schedule checks, fluids, lubrication, tests.
• System diagnostics: use tools and manuals to identify electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic failures.
• Parts replacement: remove worn components and install new parts from stock or orders.
• Safety compliance: test repaired equipment to meet manufacturer specs and OSHA rules.
• Record keeping: log service work, hours, parts used, and serial numbers.
