Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in forklift or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
• Mechanical experience with engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes.
• Basic torch cutting and welding experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain forklift equipment and material handling vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on Hyster, Yale, and similar models.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using diagrams and schematics.
• Repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and brake systems.
• Test equipment to verify repairs and ensure safe operation.
• Perform basic fabrication, torch cutting, and welding as needed.
• Maintain service records and repair documentation.
• Follow safety policies and industry regulations.
