Job summary

Central Transport in Town of Charlotte, NY, is seeking a skilled Forklift Service Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on our electric forklift fleet.

You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, rebuild components and hydraulics, and handle batteries, lubrication, tire changes, brakes, and bolt-on parts to keep our operation moving safely and efficiently. One year of hands-on experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in forklift maintenance.
• Basic set of tools required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• All forklift repairs needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Component rebuild and hydraulic repair.
• Perform routine maintenance such as checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery.
• Tire changes.
• Brakes.
• Bolt-on components.
