Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a forklift operator to support production by inspecting, fueling, and safely operating equipment throughout the facility. You will move materials, load pallets, and assist with loading and unloading doors and raw materials while maintaining safety and organization.

The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, pass forklift certification, and work overtime or weekends as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
• Prior forklift operation in manufacturing environment
• 1–2 years forklift experience with certification required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections for safety and compliance
• Fuel forklifts and perform safety checks; operate forklift safely throughout the facility
• Place pallets of finished goods on wrappers with forklift
• Load/unload, lift, move and stack raw materials and doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; support production and machine operators
