Job summary

Ideal Tridon in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Material Handler – Forklift and Hi-Lo Driver on all shifts. The role involves operating forklift and Hi-Lo, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring accurate data entry in the ERP system for inventory control.

Responsibilities include inbound receiving, staging, moving materials within the plant or yard, and adhering to safety protocols. Overtime and flexible scheduling may be required to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of forklift experience in manufacturing required.
• Hi-Lo certification preferred.
• Current forklift certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles materials by operating box truck as required, forklift, hi-lo, cart, hand truck or manually observing operational, safety procedures and company policies.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, from and onto or to trucks and/or, onto or from pallets, trays, racks or shelves, following work orders or verbal instructions.
• Receives and stages inbound materials in the inbound staging area; verify packing and packing list against product received for quantity, quality and PO.
• Reports discrepancies found with inbound shipments to the Supply Chain Manager.
• Enter data into Macola ERP system including exact quantity received for any discrepancy.
• Moves product from staging area to designated storage location as indicated in Macola.
