Job summary

Staff Management | SMX is hiring at a brand-new facility in Muncy, PA for a full-time Forklift Operator/Material Handler. The role offers shifts on 1st and 2nd and pays $18.35 per hour with weekly pay, benefits, and room for advancement.

You will safely operate forklifts, move materials, support GMPs, inspections, line clearances, and maintain production flow in a clean, safe environment. Requires ability to stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and pass background/drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklifts and handle materials safely.
• Experience with production line support and GMPs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Move, stage, and handle raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and returns to maintain production flow.
• Transport materials between receiving, production, warehouse, and shipping areas.
• Follow GMPs, sanitation procedures, and company policies.
• Assist with packing, rework, inspections, and quality checks.
• Assist with line clearances, changeovers, and minor equipment adjustments.
• Support 5S workplace organization and routine lubrication checks under supervision.
• Follow safety, quality, production and operational procedures to meet daily goals.

Staff Management | SMX is growing our team at a brand-new facility in Muncy, PA , and we are looking for dependable, motivated people to help support our client's essential daily operations. We offer full-time positions with Monday-Friday schedules, weekly pay, and medical and dental benefits.

Schedules:

• 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm

• 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:00pm

• NOTE: 2nd shift will have to work and train during 1st shift hours (7am-3pm) through 9/25.

Duties:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

• Move, stage, and handle raw materials, work in process (WIP), finished goods, and product returns to maintain production flow.

• Transport materials between receiving, production, warehouse, and shipping areas.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation procedures, and company policies.

• Assist performing packing, hand packing, rework, inspections, and visual quality checks when requested to ensure manufacturing quality standards are met.

• Assist with line clearances, changeovers, and minor equipment adjustments to minimize downtime.

• Support 5S workplace organization and perform routine lubrication checks under plant technician supervision.

• Follow safety, quality, production and operational procedures while contributing to daily production goals.
