Job summary

Riceland Foods, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to load, unload, store and transport finished goods and supplies, ensuring accurate counts against shipping documents. You will operate forklift, slip fork, pallet jack or similar equipment and maintain safety and HACCP compliance.

You will verify item types, quantities and quality, read orders, perform arithmetic, and maintain basic computer records. A one-year certificate or HS diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or high school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Able to read and print legibly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (3-digit numbers).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Riceland forklift license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, store, inventory and transport finished goods and supplies.
• Operate forklift, slip fork, pallet jack or other equipment.
• Check accuracy of item type, quantity and quality against shipping documents.
• Follow HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
• Maintain plant safety by observing who enters your work area and report unauthorized persons.
