Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Master Forklift Field Service Technician for our Montgomery, IL branch. This full-time role covers first shift, M-F, with a company van and fuel card provided. You will perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair on forklifts at customer sites, driving a company van home each day.

The position offers competitive wages, paid time off, holidays, and in-house training. A clean driving record and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of forklift repair experience preferred, including MOS/NEC codes (63B, 63H, 63S, 63W, 63Y, 91B, 91H, 91L, 91M).
• Experience in the field is highly preferable.
• Strong working knowledge of electric and liquid propane units.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair all forms of customer equipment.
• Complete repairs in a timely, efficient, professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work and manage workloads independently.
• Submit all required paperwork.
