Alta Equipment Group is hiring a Master Forklift Field Service Technician in Itasca, IL. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair forklifts, and deliver professional service while driving a company van with a fuel card.

The role is full-time, first shift, Mon–Fri, with benefits through the local union and opportunities for paid training to expand your diagnostic skills and career growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of forklift repair experience preferred.
• Field experience preferred.
• Own tools required.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair customer equipment.
• Complete repairs timely and professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work independently and manage workloads.
• Submit required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain company vehicle and on-board parts inventory.
• Attend in-house paid training programs.
