Job summary

Emerson in Olive Branch, MS seeks a Utility Worker (Powered Equipment Operator) to maintain a clean, safe warehouse and support maintenance and custodial teams, transporting products with reach lifts.

Responsibilities include moving supplies with forklifts/reach lifts, handling pallets, baling waste, basic equipment cleaning, safety compliance, and overtime as needed. A high school diploma and 6 months related experience are required; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months related experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Distribute and move goods safely.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Move supplies within the warehouse using motorized equipment (forklifts, reach lifts).
• Transport goods, empty gaylords, and packaging materials through the warehouse using a forklift.
• Move pallets and containers on/off trucks.
• Operate baler to manage industrial waste and recyclables.
• Perform basic equipment cleaning and building maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety rules and participate in housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
• Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements.
• Maintain safety on and off equipment per Emerson and regulatory rules.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
