Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Material Handler III (Powered Equipment Operator Reach Truck) at its Olive Branch, MS distribution center. You will move products using powered equipment, stock items, replenish racks, and pick orders while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires reach lift experience, forklift operation, and 6 months warehouse experience, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overtime, and pass required certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Requires prior reach lift experience with 6 months previous warehouse experience.
• Previous shipping/receiving/material handling experience.
• Ability to operate forklift in a safe manner.
• Must pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts.
• Must pass a non-DOT physical exam.
• Legal authorized to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Move product within the warehouse by motorized equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order selectors or reach lifts.
• Stock incoming items, replenish flow racks, and pick orders with RF equipment.
• Create cartons and labels prior to shipping.
• Maintain productivity minimum standards with a sense of urgency.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Replenish orders as necessary to support operation.
• Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments.
• Maintain safe actions on and off the equipment in compliance with Emerson and regulations.
• Meet department quality, attendance and productivity requirements.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
