Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Warehouseperson I in Olive Branch, MS. You will be integral to a partially automatic material-handling warehouse environment for Spare Parts, handling receiving, picking, and packing/shipping with forklift, order picker, and reach truck skills alongside basic computer use.

Responsibilities include accurate picking/packing/shipping, operating reach truck and forklift, assembling kits, processing returns, palletizing, barcode scanning, and coordinating LTL

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a lift equipment certification.
• Minimum - High School Diploma.
• Technical degree is a plus.
• 1 year operating lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of elevator and escalator systems or work in a parts warehouse is a plus.
• Working knowledge of computerized systems or computer skills is required.
• Knowledge in Warehouse Management System is a plus.
• Software experience in Oracle is a plus.
• Prior Warehousing experience using RF scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picks, packs, ships, and receives materials utilizing barcodes and RF scanner technology; all driven by software and computerized systems.
• Operate a reach truck, order picker as well as a standard forklift using the proper PPE and fall arrest equipment.
• Assembles kits for stocking purposes as required; this again requires barcoding and scanning with an attention to detail to avoid errors.
• Processes customer returns for restock.
• The receiving area requires palletizing and/or crating parts; some heavy lifting is involved.
• Banding and shrink-wrapping material is required for storage and shipment process.
• In the picking process, labeling and scanning is required to disburse inventory correctly.
• Safely loading and unloading trucks for delivery and pick up using all PPE and dock safety equipment.
• Perform daily forklift check list and annual fall arrest equipment as required.
• Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion according to 6S standards; good housekeeping is paramount.
• Promote a safety conscience work environment as we work towards zero safety incidents.
• Ability to work as a team with all staff.
• Assist in cycle counting inventory.
• Process, schedule and communicate LTL shipments and documentation to multiple carriers.
