Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a forklift operator for our 3rd shift at the Cusseta, AL plant. You will operate HiLo and other lifting equipment to move and stage pallets, materials, and supplies for production.

You must read and follow work instructions and safety procedures while maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory checks, and supporting continuous plant flow.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous material handling work experience preferred.
• HiLo forklift driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and lifting devices to move materials safely.
• Observe safety, environmental, regulatory, and company procedures.
• Assist with inventory and supply materials to production as needed.
• Unload and stack materials on pallets and transport to designated areas.
• Support plant flow and maintain accurate material handling records.

Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and maintained.
