As a Forklift Driver/Material Handler at Caterpillar, you will perform various functions including checking, receiving, verifying the accuracy of our prime products, and managing parts, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. You will work with source documents to verify parts' accuracy and condition.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Work in environments with changing temperatures, walking, squatting, and bending as needed.
2. Maintain and report daily receiving and shipping activities.
3. Safely handle material warehousing functions such as receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
4. Perform clerical duties, resolve discrepancies, and operate computer terminals and handheld scanners for receiving, counting, and order processing.
5. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
6. Use mobile equipment to facilitate job functions.
7. Report defects and repair needs.
8. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to obtain forklift driver certification.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to perform various warehouse functions and basic math.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Inventory control experience.

Additional Information:

Starting pay is $20.40/hr + $1.00 shift premium.

Positions are supplemental with limited benefits, a standard 40-hour workweek, and include:
