Pepper Source, Ltd. is seeking a Forklift Driver for the 1st shift. The role requires operating a propane-powered forklift, moving pallets, and supporting production with timely material handling.

The position is non-exempt, hourly, and pays $16.00/hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to read safety instructions and schedules. Overtime may be required depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a propane-powered forklift and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklift to move, stack, and transport materials.
• Inspect and document forklift usage and checks.
• Load/unload pallets and supplies to designated areas.
• Keep inventory of materials on the floor and supply needs.
• Record weights on tags or schedules as required.
• Assist with loading/unloading trailers when needed.

Job Title: Forklift Driver

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

1st Shift

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

Overtime required based on production need.

$16.00/hour

Drives propane powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, lift beam and elevating platform, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties:

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Completes forklift checklist in computer.
• Replaces liquefied gas tank.
• May be required to load or unload trailers.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills
