An established industry player is seeking dedicated individuals for a dynamic role involving product handling and quality control. This position focuses on maximizing efficiency and productivity within the warehouse environment. You will be responsible for picking products, operating equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Under the direction of the Department Supervisor, picks products from aisles, performs aisle replenishments, moves pallets between locations, among other tasks.
Assists in achieving maximum efficiency and productivity.
Encourages efficient utilization of equipment and facilities. Assists in ensuring that the work group has the necessary resources to complete requirements.
Works with Supervisor and group members to develop plans for fulfilling orders according to customer requirements.
Performs continuous quality control inspections of own work and coworkers during the normal course of operations.
Assists in maintaining compliance with Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Maintains work area, equipment, and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion. Directs coworkers to do the same.
Interfaces with other departments, as necessary. Builds rapport with other organizational units and individuals critical to the group's success.
Refers unusual conditions or non-routine problems to Supervisor.
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
Confers with supervisors of other departments to coordinate the flow of materials or products.
Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Works with planner for daily workload, distributes to production floor.
Also assists with Final QC and backs up other departments as necessary.
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday: 5:30am / 4pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday: 4pm / 2:30am
Occasional Fridays may be called as mandatory.
Must have experience operating Stand Up reach equipment. Order picker experience is a plus.
1 year of experience is preferred.
Great record of safety practices and behavior.
Dependability and great attendance record.
