Essential Functions

• Operate a lift truck, driving backwards and twisting to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
• Move controls to operate battery-powered lift trucks and transport materials.
• Use lifting devices to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.
• Position lifting devices under, over, or around loads and secure materials for transport.
• Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or platforms.
• Maintain reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Follow safety and security standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Roles

• Unloader: Unloads products, verifies counts, inspects condition, and stores products properly.
• Preloader: Reads preload orders, fills orders, inspects, and loads trucks following guidelines.
• Truck Loaders: Inspects trailers, counts units, loads and secures products in trailers.
