Description

Essential Functions

• Perform duties in accordance with safety and security standards.
• Operate a forklift, including reversing and twisting to view the travel direction.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Transport materials between various areas using lift trucks.
• Operate lifting devices to load, unload, and stack materials.
• Secure loads for transport and manually load/unload materials as needed.
• Maintain reliable attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Material Handler Functional Categories

Receiving

• Unload products and verify accuracy and condition.
• Scan barcodes and store products properly.

Stager/Order Picker

• Pick and prepare orders accurately, using scanning devices.

Truck Loaders

• Load products into trailers, verify truck and shipping details, and secure loads.

Position Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled hours, including overtime during busy seasons.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and establish effective relationships.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy in work.
• Complete paperwork neatly and accurately.
