Job summary

Randstad USA in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Dock Associate to join a fast-paced shipping and receiving team. You will operate Toyota Sit-Down and Raymond Stand-Up forklifts to move, stage, and load freight, while auditing loads for accuracy and weight.

You will use RF handheld scanners to track inventory in the WMS, comply with OSHA safety rules, and support a clean, organized 5S/7S environment during an 8–10 hour shift.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation: Toyota Sit-Down and Raymond Stand-Up forklifts.
• Strong basic math for auditing freight counts and load weights.
• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse shipping/receiving dock.
• Experience using handheld RF scanners for inventory tracking and order lookup.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/sitting for 8–10 hours.
• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) test.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, stage, and load freight.
• Audit outbound loads against manifests, BOLs, and order sheets.
• Load/unload trailers; inspect shipments and verify counts.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and update WMS.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and 5S/7S warehouse standards.
