Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Northlake, IL to move products throughout the warehouse using various handling equipment. The role requires externally accredited qualifications and shifts include 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) with possible weekend work."

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, order picking, packing, scanning, and ensuring timeliness and safety compliance. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work with others is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material.
• RF scan gun experience required.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Must read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Must be able to work with others with little supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Using manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products and other duties.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure safe and secure work environment following TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
