Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must be 17+ years old
• Experience in transportation industry preferred
• Stable employment history preferred
• Forklift operation experience or certification preferred
• Able to push/pull 70 lbs
• Physical activities include standing, lifting, twisting, etc.
• Ability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends
• Able to lift ~70 lbs or more
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting
• Record the condition of freight on arrival
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment
• Maintain regular attendance
• Perform additional duties as assigned due to operational needs
