Estes Express Lines is seeking a dock/warehouse associate to load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck. You will strap, brace, and pad freight to prevent damage and accurately record freight condition on arrival at the service center.

This role requires safe operation of dock equipment, ability to lift ~70 lbs, and flexible shifts including overtime and weekends. A pre-employment drug screen and background check apply.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior operation of a forklift or forklift certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs., or more if required by essential functions.
• Able to push/pull a loaded pallet jack/hand truck with a minimum load of 70 lbs.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends; dependable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record freight condition upon arrival at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Execute other duties as assigned in line with safety and operations needs.
