Job summary

Sysco Minneapolis is hiring for an Unloader/Loader at our Northeast RDC. This role unloads and loads product from trailers, operates material handling equipment, and follows PWMs to ensure safe, accurate handling in freezer, cooler and dry environments.

Responsibilities include inspecting trailers, reporting issues, loading pallets, maintaining load balance, and adhering to safety rules. Requires forklift certification and ability to work in extreme temperatures; full-time with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Teamwork and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Observe and enforce all safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Certification on material handling equipment required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound product from trailers onto the dock using MHE according to PWMs.
• Load product onto trucks and ensure load stability and balance.
• Inspect trailers and product for damage, shortages or quality issues and report to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Follow temperature controls and warehouse procedures in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.
