Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Edison, NJ seeks a Warehouse Associate to handle loading, unloading, depalletizing, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and order selection in cold and warm environments with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You will operate forklifts and other MHE, follow PWMs, and ensure proper staging while maintaining cleanliness and teamwork. A forklift certification or ability to obtain one is required; reach truck experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Six months forklift experience required; reach truck experience preferred.
• Able to work in team environment and communicate effectively.
• Must pass functional capacity test and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow tasking to transport pallets safely between staging areas.
• Put away product using MHE, primarily reach forklift.
• Inspect product for shortages or damage and report to supervisor.
• Replenish product from reserve locations following PWMs.
• Ensure pallets are secured with shrink wrap for delivery to door or rack storage.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely in a warehouse environment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and warehouse locations.
• Comply with safety rules and company policies.
